The main aim is to present photos in an elegant way, just like you see in a premium magazine.With a professional layout and smooth hover effects, the images will feel more lively and attractive.The gallery is also designed to be fully responsive, so it looks great and works smoothly on both desktop and mobile devices.
How it’s Built (The HTML)
The site layout of the HTML is very simple and modular. In essence, we have a principal Gallery Grid which serves as a container of all the Gallery Items. All the elements are well-cut into two sections, one of which is occupied by the image and the other by the text information. This well-organized framework renders the code extremely easy to manage at any time you desire to add new photos with great light speed, there is no concern of interrupting the general appearance of the collection.
The Look and Feel (The CSS)
The real magic lies in the CSS. The layout is set in such a way that it appears to be clean, refined and perfectly balanced with a three column grid. To make the images look longer, more graceful and professional, it is placed in a 4:5 ratio. A seamless zoom effect is provided to the user when he or she hovers his or her photo thereby giving it a hint of depth and sophistication.
These soft effects, coupled with elegant serif typesetting, make the gallery look upscale and editorial without complicating or making the experience difficult to navigate.
